On 26 April 2016, the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (FCCA) approved a business transaction by which the Swedish Holding AB Vagnfixarna will acquire Autoklinikka-yhtiöt Oy, HotPaint-yhtiöt Oy, and Autoklinikka Partner Oy.
Considering that the damage repair services for motor vehicles provided by Holding AB Vagnfixarna are only available in Sweden, the parties have no overlapping business operations in Finland. The Autoklinikka group has a very small market share of the motor vehicle repair and servicing business in Finland. The FCCA has concluded that the acquisition will not significantly impede effective competition or have a material negative impact on competition.
