The Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority has concluded that the acquisition will not significantly impede effective competition in the Finnish market.
Both parties are contract manufacturers of electronics. Enics engages primarily in industrial electronics, offering electronics manufacturing services ranging from prototyping to full-scale manufacture, including procurement, supply chain management and repair and maintenance.
PKC Electronics engages in electronics contract manufacturing, development and mobile phone testing. PKC Electronics has plants in Finland and China.
The FCCA’s decision includes business secrets of the parties involved. The decision cannot be published until the business secrets have been removed, i.e. in around two weeks’ time.
