Many people have difficulties in their daily money matters. Now help is available in easy-to-understand form. The material provides information on how to plan your finances and how to manage them in a safe way.
The set comprises a printed and online guide on personal finances, a video on how to pay using a payment card and a series of images on how to do with less. The guides are available in Finnish and Swedish.
The material has been tested by special needs students, aphasic persons and immigrants. The material provides clear and concise information about money matters so that each issue is supported by an image.
The online material is available at www.papunet.net/selko/rahankaytto (in finnish). The material has been jointly produced by the Finnish Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority. The Finnish and Swedish versions of the printed guide are also available on FCCA’s website.
You can order the Finnish version of the printed guide from the Finnish ETR Centre at selkokeskus@kvl.fi and the Swedish version from the LL-Center at ll-center@fduv.fi. The booklets are free of charge.
