The Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (FCCA) and the Ministry of Employment and the Economy (MEE) are jointly mapping the digital economy’s need for regulation and the development needs of regulation itself. Approximately 50 respondents commented on the questions presented in the MEE’s memorandum (in Finnish). The respondents include authorities, universities and research institutions, companies, industry associations and trade unions.
Their statements included a range of views on digitalisation, regulation and globalisation. The responses will be carefully studied and can be used in the context of the Government Programme and in the planning of competition and consumer policy.
The FCCA has published a summary of the statements (in Finnish).
